  • Feedback on new website

    While I don’t particularly like the new website as it seems to involve far more scrolling to get the same information I understand you needed to update the site so in general I have refrained from commenting until now.

    I now complain about it as I have just had the experience of buying vouchers on it. I don’t need to scroll up and down over vast empty expanses to read what I have added to my cart to purchase: I want (and only need) to see a text listing. I don’t need or want huge graphics and copious white space! Purchasing is a business transaction - it’s not a suitable place for window dressing and eye candy.

    I implore you to please please make the checkout more businesslike and less like the kids got carried away with there crayons.

    Going from the forums to Synchron (BTW still no Studio drop down) and then trying to find a “dry” library.

  • On the old website, I could go to the main page and, at a glance, see if there is any interesting news. On the new website, when I go to the main page, I see a huge pointless image. During massive scrolling, I see numerous other huge, pointless images and occasionally some information.

    I don't get it. I can read. I don't need huge images to understand what it's all about. As a matter of fact, images tell me nothing, and the massive use of large images just confuses me, and I give up and leave the site.

    If I go to a product page, I'm greeted with a huge pointless image. Why? When I visit a product page, I'm interested in the product information, not some artwork. What is the point of forcing me to scroll down to see what I came for?

    It used to be exciting to visit your site and see if there's anything new. Now, I get so irritated that I leave the site before even finding out if there is something new.

    Please bring a usable site back.
