  • VSL Noobie with MIR Pro 3D, Synchron Elite Strings, and some Studio stuff -- how to?

As the title says -- totally new at this.

I have both a Synchron lib (Elite Strings) and a Studio lib (Elements), and I want to feed them both into MIR Pro 3D, into rooms that are NOT the Synchron Stage.

Shouldn't I send only Dry sources to MIR?

How do I do that with a Studio source?

Can I even do that with a Synchron source?

For example, I want to put Synchron elite Strings into the Mozartsaal along with the Studio Elements library, and a German Steinway by Ivory 3. I Know how to get a dry Ivory sound. How do I set up the VSL sources?

What else should I be aware of?

    Many thanks.

Hi, For the Synchron Elite Strings only use/load the close and mid microphones. Close is nearly dry. Use the Mid microphones carefully as it has more of the room sound. Studio libraries were recorded in the Silent stage room which is very dry already! For the Synchron libraries dont load the microphone settings you wont use. Saves a lot of ram memory. Have fun.

    Best,
