Although reading carefull manual mutiple times & watching all tutorials
I'm really not shure about the Firewall settings. Need a little guiding please regarding details.
Background: I run a slave-master-network / VEP7 server on SLAVE (win11) / vep7 vst plugin only in nuendo on MASTER (win10)
1) should the apps & plugins be open/running while doing this?
2) adding the ports: should I only work on the INCOMING RULES page on the MASTER?
And OUTCOMING RULES page on the SLAVE? Or vice versa? Or both on both systems?
3) There are 2 items in the list calles VE Pro. (by the way: on my PC they're called "Vienna Ensemble Pro")
Do I select both together (like in the manual screenshot both are marked) and THEN click on "NEW RULE" and follow the steps as descirbed?
Or: Do I set up those "NEW RULES" step by step: first for the TCP (always adding the TCP ports) and then selecting the UDP line (and always add the UDP ports selecting UDP)?
WIth other words: please... can someone just help me understanding it better?
In the manual for me thats way to general, sorry...
