Also, if I recall correctly, another key difference besides the new player is that the Studio (formerly known as Synchron-ized) versions also include impulse responses to place these instruments on the Synchron Stage (hence the name), whereas the VI versions were entirely bone-dry out of the box unless you had the additional MIRx reverb responses installed. I believe with Studio you are able to turn off this reverb response to also match with other VI libraries if needed or for MIR placement into other rooms.
