I am quite familiar with other sample players, but I can't figure out how to get this to work, even after looking at the online documentation.
I have installed a couple of instruments in the Vienna Assistant but I don't' see them in the Synchron Player. I'm happy to just uninstall everything and forget I ever tried, but I thought I'd ask here as a last resort. It really should be easier than this.

If you installed the instruments in Vienna Assistant and don't see them in the Synchron Player, chances are that you haven't activated them in the iLok License Manager application. Synchron player will only show the products where there is a valid iLok activated. You have to log into your iLok account in the iLok License Manager application and activate the license on a valid host for it - either a physical iLok dongle, or iLok cloud. Note that iLok computer activation is only supported with the "VSL Free Instruments Bundle", so unless it is one of the free instruments, you can't use the computer activation and have to either activate to the iLok cloud or a physical iLok dongle (USB key).
