  • Unwanted Portamento when playing Full Range Strings

I am getting unwanted, extra Portamento notes (that I am not playing) when playing Full Range Legato Strings. It mostly happens when playing fast or 2-handed chords. I am NOT touching the Sustain pedal.

For example, playing C-E-G-A rapidly, anywhere on the keyboard will cause the Bb below the C to sound. Depending on what I'm playing, all sorts of wrong notes occur out of nowhere.

How can I fix this? Or turn Portamento off entirely?

    Thanks!

  • Another Example:

If you alternate C and then Eb+G (both at once), Ab will sound right before the Eb+G. This happens even if playing slowly (as long as you're playing legato).

  • Hi vslkarl7777,

Which product are you talking about, which patch/preset?

The one this forum is for? Synchron Prime Edition, using the Strings Full Range preset.

    Hi Paul -

I thought I replied to you already, but it seems to have disappeared, so I will reply again.

I am using Synchron Prime Edition, using the Strings Full Range Preset (Legato).

Hope you can figure out what is going on.

    Karl
