  • Synchron Player in Logic Pro: control midi input channel.

    Hi fellow music lovers.

Working on a score, where I have one track per instrument with its own instance of Synchron Player (SP).
I would like any playback track to be the score track as well.

I need Flute I. and II. to share the same staff in the score, but SP only to respond to one of the instruments (one of the midi channels).
To obtain the best sound I have the two instruments on individual tracks, each with its own SP instance with different articulations.
Flute I. is part of the score set (in Logic), Flute II. not.

Is there a way to have SP only respond to notes with a specific midi channel (I think not)?
Then I could have two voices (Flute I. and II.) with different midi channels in the same track = staff with two voices, but only hearing one (Flute I.) during playback - Flute II. is heard on another track but not part of the score set.

Or is there another way to reach this goal?

I hope this make sense: I feel the more I write, the more unclear my question gets, but lets try!

    Thanks in advance!
    Best, Sten Oerting

  • You might be better off by posting this in a Logic Pro forum.

    Just a beginner
  • Hi rAC, thank you for pushing me in that direction. Stay well!
