  • Missing content in "Synchronized" libraries

Why is in basically every Synchronized library some random content from the corresponding Vienna Instruments library missing? Now that the VI Series and the great VI Player are unfortunately discontinued, it simply makes no sense to literally take away great and crucial content, that users are fond of and used for decades. In the new Synchronized Orchestral Strings, for instance all this seems to be missing:
    - performance marcato
    - performance trill
    - performance legato sul
Not even to mention the goodies in the "Resource" folder of the VI libraries (that for instance enabled the High Definition Shorts).
It might be that some of these are partly included in other patches (which is surely less flexible), but I definitely don't see the legato sul anywhere, and this was in my humble opinion the best patch in the entire library! Why would this be removed?
And this while at the same time users are asked to pay high cross-grade prices just in order to go on using (the residual part of) their libraries in the future. I am sure most users would understand this if they would get an equally good or even better product (as was clearly the case when the VSL moved to VI). However, in addition to Synchronized libraries being incomplete, the Synchron Player uses significantly more resources, even after over five years is still lacking many key features of the VI pro player (auto-voicing, the APP sequencer or tuning curves to name just a few), and users are stuck with the single Synchron venue instead of being able to use various different venues conveniently via MIRx (automatically within the player itself - in contrast to having to use an external MIR engine, Vienna Ensemble, ...).

  • Will more work be done to further enhance the already added synchronized libraries, or to explain the way the content is there but described differently as Ben's post above demonstrates may be partly the case?
