  • Customizing CC controllers in FLOW-view?

Is there a way to change CC controllers when inside FLOW view?
Due to my setup/midi-controller in the regular Synchron Player Perform tab
I always customize Expression to CC0 and Timbre Shift to CC2. Easy & fast with MIDI learn.
But now in FLOW view Expression is set to CC11 and Timbre to CC8 by default.
    How can I change those?
Since going back from FLOW view to traditional PRECISION view will reset the whole player, apparently this doesn't help.
    Thanks in advance!

I also have this question thanks

Oh and by the way, possible bug report, using CC20 Vibrato in Flow view on the Woodwinds is giving me crackles thanks

  • I talked to support later since nobody replied here.
Unfortunately their response was: it was a design decision to keep the interface clear.

I shared my feedback with them: That a rightclick>Learn (midi-learn) option wouldn't mess up the interface at all.
And that its a pity that FLOW is completely unusable for me due to this missing (really basic) function.

So I really hope some people share their feedback too with VSL and maybe this gets fixed.

Thanks for the update! It's something that can be worked around although unfortunate.

I would also like to request the ability to change the mix, the Duality Strings have been allowed to have full stereo information finally, but the Prime Edition strings do their old narrow panning thing, and it's easy enough in the Precision view to widen that narrow pan, but then I lose the Flow functionality entirely! I would love to be able to drop right into Precision editing of the Flow mixer. Maybe I can make my own mixer or patch presets and access those in Flow?

Sadly it doesn't look like it. Flow is completely locked off from the rest of the value their awesome Synchron Player offers. This makes buying Prime Edition (which I am demoing once again) far less appealing. If I play things into Flow, which is nice, I can't keep those performances with a different panning. They force their panning on me. Why not just allow user mixer presets?

  • This is also the issue I have with the otherwise awesome player. This is the only missing thing. And guys, this has nothing to do with keeping the UI clean. I mean, if I click on the cc label where the dynamics slider is in the UI, a drop-down appears. It wouldn't mess up the UI if you just added the "Learn CC" option to the list.
