The VSL Support team helped me with this.

The easiest tip to estimate the use is to just simply try it. The player will automatically show in the bottom right corner the amount of samples loaded into your RAM.

For example, the entire Synchron Duality Strings Collection is around 610 GB in installation size.

I use a buffer size standard buffer size of 3072, which is the default set by our player for most users.

Loading all sections the player uses around 6 GB of RAM that's ~1%

Libraries like Prime Edition are a lot more economic and you usually can load the entire Prime orchestra into ~4 GB or RAM. (including all orchestra instruments)

You will have to try yourself.

    Best regards,
    Andreas

    Thanks, Andreas!
