  • My 100+ licenses stopped working

    This was working fine yesterday. Boot my machine today and none of my 100+ licenses are working. I'm using iLok Cloud activation, and I'm on Windows 10. I have the latest versions of everything installed. And I've rebooted my machine several times.

    Let's pick one license: 'Elite Strings'.

    1) I log in to iLok Manager. Yes, it's there as a 'cloud' license, and it's active.

    2) I launch Vienna Assistant, and, yes it's installed.

    3) I launch Vienna Ensemble Pro, create a Synchron Player track, and it lists NONE of my licenses, including 'Elite Strings'.

    I'd be VERY grateful for your assistance! I'm dead in the water! With deadlines!


  • P.S. Just for grins, I've reinstalled iLok Manager, Vienna Synchron Player, and Vienna Ensemble Player. No luck.


  • Open preferences in Vienna Assistant (from the main menu), go to Database and click on "Reset Database".

    After that restart VEP (in case it was still open) and check if this has solved your issue. If not please contact our support: support@vsl.co.at

  • Good to know about that feature, but that didn't help.

    Meanwhile, I have a USB iLok device, I've moved ALL my licenses onto it, and that's working. So at least I'm not dead in the water.

    Could it be that the licenses were all active in the iLok Cloud - but the Cloud Session iteselve was no longer running? That would explain seeing your license activated in the cloud but not usable.
