volume in smart orchestra

I have track in my sequencer which plays smart orchestra, left hand strings right hand solo horn. Is it possible to increase the volume of only the horn and not the strings with commands from that one sequencer track?

Hello songman!

If you load one of the Velocity presets, you can trigger the dynamics for the orchestra and the soloist separately anyway.
If you prefer to work with VelXF, you could use the ensemble articulation "Soft Pad + Solo". This way the orchestra section will stay soft.
