    I've got Vienna smart orchestra. Is it worthwhile getting Synchron smart orchestra or is it all just duplication with some more mike positions? And what about Prime edition is that a better choice to supplement Vienna smart orchestra? Or does that too duplicate a lot?

    The Synchron one contains stuff from Synchron Libraries, where are recorded in the Synchron Stage, while the other one contain stuff from VI Series recorded in the dry Silent Stage with one microphone position. The latter is way older, but still awesome, but you’ll have to make it wet.

    Prime is also based on Synchron recorded libraries: you would have to look at the details of it and Smart Library to workout what ‘overlap’ there is. Noting of course that the dryness of the Silent stage isn’t available naturally to Prime.

    Prime also has a nifty new feature called flow - its worth checking the videos and or the demo licence to check that out.
