Now that the VI-Series is doomed to die and some people, including myself, will be switching to “SYCHRON-ized” versions in the long term, I would like to see the following feature included in the VI Pro Sampler also being included in the Synchron Player: the ability to view and display the existing round robins and the option to deactivate individual ones.
Why all this? It's not because individual samples/RRs are of poor quality, no, it's because of the “dynamic performance repetitions”. In my custom presets of the VI Pro sampler I have matrices where I have loaded the different “dynamic performance repetitioons” but with different numbers of activated “round robins” in order to have different lengths and dynamic crescendos available, which are much smoother and more authentic than when I record them with the regular “performance repetitions”, although the velocity-based dynamic layer crossfading is really good.
That's why I wish this feature would also be built into the Synchron Player!
