Hi,
I made a very simple expression map to select the articulations in any of the Synchron Smart Orchestra presets. I guess this covers everything that should be selected automatically from the score.
Just import it, and apply it to any track to which a Smart Orchestra instrument has been assigned.

If you want a section and solo instrument to appear in the same staff in a particella, I would suggest to use Dorico's condensing feature to consolidate them. An alternative is using separate voices from a staff to drive different instruments.
