  • Any Tips on Optimizing a Mac Studio M2 Ultra?

Hi, kind of embarrassed that I am hearing glitches and dropouts with Synchron on my new Mac. I have a M2 Ultra Mac Studio with 128GB RAM, 8TB SSD. When I load for example Synchron Prime Strings, Tutti Full Range, or even a smaller violoncellos VelXF, I frequently get major glitching and dropouts. After a while things settle down, I can play a few passages, but the glitching comes back. In the meantime, the CPU meter is running 5-8%. This Mac should be able to handle it, so I must not have everything optimized properly. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on how to configure the engine settings to avoid this?

Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Never mind - I fixed it, yay! The problem was that the engine was still reading the old hard drive locations instead of the new locations on the Studio SSD. I had to go in and manually delete all the old location information and then rescan. Now it's fabulous!
