    I recently downloaded the Solo String Tool Templates from the VSL webpage. They contaon ".pal" files. I expected these files to be ".vlp" files that were compatible with the performance tool. What are these ".pal" files and how are they used?

    the .vlp fils are a set of settings (all ports, allchanels), whereas the .pal file is intended to be loaded from the respective sub-window which appears if a certain mode is selected
