  • VI Pro Cannot Open Toolkit error

    I took advantage of the sale to stock up on a couple of VI instruments.

    However, I'm getting the following error whenever I try to add a VI channel in VEP:

    "Toolkit: Could Not Open Plugin"

    I get this error every time I try to add a VI Pro plugin using the button on the bottom left of the VEP interface. I am able to add VI Pro if I click the insert slow at the top of a blank VEP channel. However, it does not get recalled correctly after closing and re-opening the session. The error returns, and I must manually re-load the preset before I can work on my session.

    I have updated to the most recent VEP, Synchron, and VI Pro players using Vienna Assistant, and also removed and reinstalled iLOK.

  • Thanks to quick response by VSL support, I was able to resolve this.

    All that was needed was a reset and rescan in VEP's preferences.
