  • Vienna Ass't Uninstall Library

    Hi Everyone ...

    Can someone tell me what happens to a library when uninstalled in Vienna Ass't ???

    Is there a simple way to reinstall it, and if Yes ... How is this done ???

    Thanks for any assistance provided

  • Hi @jdw

    If you uninstall a library, the product folder with the sample content is deleted from your drive. You will find that the product again shows up under "NOT INSTALLED" and can be re-downloaded from there at any time.

    Best,
    Andreas

  • Thank You Andreas,

    I'm considering purchasing a lot of VI Series Libraries while they are still available (Cube, Solo Strings II, Imperial Piano, Konzert Organ, Vienna Voices Complete, All 6 MirX Convolution Reverb Venues, AND ?) .

    I store all VSL material on my Internal Hard Drive; (nothing on External Drives) .

    Can you tell me the Default Storage Locations for all these Downloads ?

    The only plausible "general areas" are Applications, Documents, System Data .

    Thank You Again, Andreas;

  • Hi! Software always goes into fixed locations—there's no need to select anything there. For Sample content, I would go with your personal user folder and create a "VSL Samples" location there. Then, you can always select this folder whenever you install a library or your MIRx packs, and everything is neatly organized for you.
