Tried updating to the latest Waves Creative Access (V15 plug-ins). I found that VEP7 failed to clear some of the plug-ins; ultimately I downgraded back to Waves V14. Anyone else experience issues with this? (Please no Waves-bashing in the response :-)—for better AND worse I'm a subscriber...)

I have my Waves 15 licenses (non-subscription) on a hardware USB stick and can't see any obvious issues with their VST3 plug-ins. I _do_ get errors with VST2 under Windows, which I don't use for anything other than for testing purposes. 8-)
What OS are you working with, and what's the version of your VE Pro? What plug-ins "failed to clear"?
