  • Release Envlope And Reverb...

Hello. To Whom This May Concerned. I emailed this as well, accept for the Release Envolope part. I just got the Standard Version of the Yamaha CFX Piano Library. 1st off all. This thing is very real sounding like I'm right at it live in person. Great job on capturing the sound of it. Ridiculous. Now with that here is my thing as it comes to the user/customer functionality and controlling it how the user would like it to sound in getting that great sound that they want out of it. As I was doing research the best I could looking outside in, with review's and demos and reading on it. When finally making the leap to purchase it. I noticed no release envelope-(Like ADSR) controls to control the release of how quick you want it to respond as you play the notes. Will that be hopefully considered an added feature to add on the Player to control that? Number 2 Question/Issue I have. On the Standard Version. You guys really soaked the crap out of this thing as it pertains to the reverb and room mix. Even with the reverb settings I have all the way down, and the room mix close to 0. It's still sounds wet. May I asked why did you all when you all recorded and sampled that thing as so? And not dry, and let the user add the reverb the way they want it? And will that two will be considered to be updated and changed in the future on the Player part of it? Please let me know when you all can. Looking forward. And thanks again.

  • Hi.

You can get the CFX pretty bone dry if you want. Try to use only the close mic, turn off the artificial reverb at the far right in the Mix tab. Then go in to the Edit tab and lower the RS Level to a negative value of your liking.

    Hope it helps.
