    Can I create my own harp glissandi using authentic harp pedaling?

    The Vienna Synchron harp has that possibility. You can choose between a chromatic harp and a pedal harp. With the pedal harp the white keys correspond with a string. You can change every white key a half tone higher and a half tone lower. The black keys don't correspond with strings but have other functions. Take a look in the manual.

    The red black keys in the manual have the function of a pedal. A low velocity of the black key makes for instance all c-strings a Cb, a middle velocity makes all c-strings sounding as a C, and a high velocity of the black key makes all c-strings a C#. You see seven red keys in the picture in the manual, for every note one key (= pedal).
