  • Manual of Mir Pro 3D in PDF format

@Cyril-Blanc said:For the manual of MIR Pro in PDF ; are you going to make it available on VSL site or shall I make it available on my site.

On your own website you are of course free to publish any supplementary information you wish to present to the public. It might achieve better visibility if you write it down in a dedicated forum message on this board, but the decision is up to you.

Please note, however, that VSL's software manuals, even if you can download them freely from the VSL website, are protected by copyright. VSL does NOT authorise any use of its publications other than the intended one.

In other words, you MUST NOT publish anything that you have compiled from content that is not your own. VSL will not do this either, which means that the company will not publish your unsolicited PDF files.

    Thanks for your understanding.

PS: Please do NOT mix up topics in your forum messages. It makes it quite hard to provide meaningful answers, and it renders the threads less useful for all other forum members. Thanks!

  • Hello Dietz

I am very surprised and disappointed of your answer

I would expect a "thanks Cyril to have done this long work", specially I did It for free.

At the end of the manual there is the copyright formulae of you original manual

If you want to edit it to your taste I can give you the file in "Page" format

The only goal if to help Mir user, because MIR is quite complicated and not obvious

  • Cyril, if your reformatted PDF manual helps you in using MIR 3D - great. But you have to thank yourself for this effort, because nobody else asked you to do so.

BTW: Please pay attention to the correct formatting here in this forum, too. Your original message quotes a text of mine without clear indication. Thank you very much!

  • Sorry for the quotes you can fix them as I cannot edit a post.

I do not need the manual for me as now it is my 4th piece that is using Dolby ATMOS

You have a strange attitude, with a good manual you have less support to make

its a general problem at VSL as you do not want to implement the search in the whole manual the solution is having it in PDF

No, nobody have ask me to make the manual in PDF. IT IS A PRESENT, Dolby ATMOS is a new feature many VSL user are going to use it.

The limited search in the page does not help at all because you don't know in which section you will find the information.

I have to remind you that as you sell in France, by the law you should have your manual in French too
