  • Can MIR Pro 3D send position data out?

Wondering if there is any way to get position data out from the engine via OSC message or something similar.

    In short: No.

Longer answer: Since any change to the position, width and rotation of the Icon triggers the pre-processing of the position impulse responses, there are audible interruptions in the (wet) signal. Therefore, automation of these parameters was omitted deliberately.

    Kind regards,

Understood, but I was asking about OSC out for the ability to send position data to other plugins/ apps that could receive them, therefore opening up the possibility to sync positions in other spatialization software from the MIR staging interface.

  • I see. That's a valid idea, and it might indeed make a lot of sense especially in context of a complex Ambisonics-based workflow. Right now this feature doesn't exist, but I'll put it on the list of requests. Thanks for your input!
