    Hi,

    I am trying out the synchron prime edition. However, I'm guessing that it will need updating, as I cannot see any of the Elite Strings in the string section, and they are now part of it from what I've read before. In the Vienna Assistant, I see that the whole edition is there, but it doesn't show an update to include the Elite Strings, so I'm guessing that it means I have to re-download the whole package again from scratch. Am I correct here?

    Hi Steve,

    These are the Elite Strings instruments within Prime Edition: Violins 6, Violins 5, Violas 4, DBasses 3

    If you have installed Prime Edition just recently it should already be on your system.

    Hi Ben,

    I have the version of Prime that was before the addition of the Elite Strings. On my Vienna Assistant, I can only see the whole package and no "update", so it looks like I have to re-download it from scratch now.

    In the mic overview list, scroll down to see if the elite strings are selected. If not select them and click install. Same for the World Winds bonus instruments.

    where do I find the mic overview list in the synchron player...thanks, Steve

    Hi Ben, here is a snap shot of my prime synchron player open, and I cannot see any drop down list on any of the controls in the mix, and I can't seem to find the mic positions as you mentioned. I hope the snap shot helps. Thanks.

    Hi Ben, I think I have found the problem. In the Vienna Assistant I get

    "no active license" when I go to download the update.

    It seems like your demo license is older then 30 days. In this case you are not able to download the library again. If this is a mistake please contact our support via mail.

    Hi Ben,they extended it for me when I wrote to them a while back. It's still working and it expires on the 14th of July. But I'll write to them about this and let them know. It's going fine when I open up the Synchron player. Everything is there, except the Elite patches as you can see from the screen shot. Thanks for your advice. I'll do this right now. 😊
