O/S: Windows 10
Pro version: 7.3.3725
Steps I have taken.
1) Uninstalled the software
2) Deleted all .ini files under Users/%UserName%/Appdata/Roaming/VSL/
3) Installed VE Pro 7 from Vienna Assistant.
4) When I start VE Pro 7, it automatically starts scanning for plugins - which I didn't expect since I have not added any folders in the vst settings on preferences.
5) Many Ujam plugins, Arturia plugins fail validation, although I have no problem using them in Cubase.
So here are my two questions.
Based on above steps, looks like there is somewhere VE Pro 7 knows which folders to scan. Where is that file located on Windows 10.
Secondly, what should I do to have ensure all VST3 plugins do not fail validation.
This is wasting a lot of my time.
