    Here is my version of Nino Rota’s “Kay” cue from “The Godfather Part II.” Rota received the Best Original Score Oscar for his work on this film.

    I really like the 1940’s style arrangement and even used the vintage preset of the German 1904 Upright piano to reinforce the retro vibe.

    I used the Synchron Duality Strings exclusively for the ensemble strings.

    And here is Bernd Mazagg's mastered version. I think it's interesting to hear how he really improves the track with his mastering magic!
