In "agile legato" patch violas produce very audible ghost notes. For example c-c# repetition produces approx. f#-c ghost notes. This should be fixed, please, that patch is now unusable (especially when exposed in orchestration). Screenshot included, with WAV demo.
And please, do not tell me to by the latest string products - I prefer pro sound (less hollywood).

Our agile legatos have been extracted from fast lines, which is why sometimes a "ghost note", as you call it, can be heard. They are not intended for repeating patterns or trill-like writing, but for furiously fast lines and embellishments.
So, under the sonic microscope, you will find some notes that will sometimes not fit (depending on the scale you are in) that still linger on. It's part of the concept.

Now, how do I change the patch from "agile" to some other type of legato in Dorico Expression map just for the viola (other strings are not as much distractive)?
Found a way to overrride this in Dorico:
To change a phrase from agile legato to normal legato, select phrase and lengthen notes' played durations to overlap each other. Playback template changes patch automatically to "legato" when lengths are long enough. Sounds good enough to me for repetitions.
