  • Power Drums drag/drop MIDI files adds an "aftertouch" lane - what?

Whenever I drag/drop the Power Drums MIDI files from the Synchron Player into Logic, there is an "Aftertouch" lane of MIDI CC date

All I did was drag/drop the MIDI file - I do not even have a MIDI controller, let alone one that has Aftertouch

Is this a bug? What is this?

I am hoping that someone can shed some light on this

    See screenshot:

  • Hi! Some of the MIDI files may have been created with a master keyboard with aftertouch capabilities. Since none of the presets in the Synchron Power Drums library use aftertouch, this MIDI data does not affect your performance.

    Andreas - thank you

  • HI again @Andreas8420

OK now that the Aftertouch issue out of the way...

I am at a loss as to how to get these Power Drums to sound powerful without clipping. In order to barely be under the clipping threshold, I have to either lower the velocity or expression to the point where the Power Drums sound like someone hitting towels with a stick

The MIDI drag/drop files, although full of amazing grooves, immediately send my DAW into the red and, thusly, I run into the same issue as stated above, having to lower the velocity or expression to the point where the drums are very weak

Is anyone else having this issue? Any advice?

    Thank you
