    I have a configuration with a DAW running Nuendo/Cubase and two satellite computers running VEPro via 1Gbit ethernet (one Mac, one Windows).

    Most of the times when i open a saved Nuendo project, some instances from both satellites don't get connected. I am not even presented with an error message, I just notice that I can't hear their sounds. When I open the plugin window (within Nuendo), it shows:

    NOT CONNECTED (failed)

    <CONNECT> <RETRY> <ALL>

    This is very troubling because I need to always check if there is anything missing.

    Any solution for this?

    could you solve this? I would always check how you are connected in the network. f.e. I never use the discover feature to see the available slave-instances. I enter the direct IP adress of the slave-PC.
    What I see as an issue is that, when my slave instance is shutdown and I reload it while th emaster is searching for it, NUENDO just hangs forever - I have to kill the session with the task manager the hard way
