  • VI Instruments and synchron player

    Hi,

am I imagining this or is the video recently uploaded showing VI Orchestral Strings demonstrating the original VI strings in the Synchron player? I thought this was not possible ?

The Ultimate Vienna Strings Comparison - by Guy Bacos

Is this really available in Synchron player?

    Regards,

    Tom

  • ok, I should have watched a little further as the video explained the synchron player was showing the available articulations already in the special editions 1 and 2! Apologies for getting too excited!

  • Since you have partly answered your own question, I will only add this much: some of the original VI libraries have been converted for the Synchron Player. More will certainly follow.

  • Indeed, many have been converted. The first Orchestral Strings I and II Vienna Instruments are among the very few that have not been Synchron-ized. If I recall correctly, they had minor and major third trills that were useful for building trilled (which play mostly like tremolo) chords. But later Synchron-native strings include trills In thirds.
