In diesem Forum habe ich verschiedene Beiträge zu dem Feature “Light Guide” und den KOmplete Kontrol Keyboards gefunden, die Situation ist jedoch nach wie vor unbefriedigend.
Vor kurzem habe ich versucht, ein KK S61 MK2 wenigstens über das Plugin “Komplete Kontrol” in VEP7 zu integrieren, VEP7 stürzt aber ab nach einiger Zeit. Das gleiche passiert mit Cubase 13, es liegt also nicht an VEP7.
Ich habe stundenlang versucht, einen Weg zu finden, das Keyboard irgendwie vernünftig mit dem Synchron Player als auch mit VEP zum Laufen zu bringen, erfolglos. Unbrauchbar.
Nicht einfacher für mich wird die Tatsache, dass ich auf 2 VEP Server zahlreiche Kontakt Libraries liegen habe, die Tasten zum Umschalten der Expression Maps haben. Ursprünglich hatte ich mir noch überlegt, ob ich ein Komplete Kontrol Sxx MK3 kaufen soll, weil die neueste Generation nun direkt Kontakt unterstützt, anstatt über den Umweg des KK Plugins. Da ich viel mit SP und VEP arbeite, scheint diese doch recht kostspielige Investition wohl obsolet.
Schade auch, dass es heutzutage (immer noch) nicht möglich ist, die key switches in dem Synchron Player auf dem KK nativ zu verwenden. Das wäre mal eine Arbeitserleichterung, als immer nur auf den Bildschirm schauen zu müssen, welches Instrument grad wo seine key switches hat, insbesondere bei VSL Libraries mit den zahlreichen Kombinationen.
Zum Nachbearbeiten genügt ja die Expression Map, kein Thema.
Gibt es zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt irgendwelche weiteren Informationen hierzu?

Recently, I tried to integrate a KK S61 MK2 at least through the "Komplete Kontrol" plugin in VEP7, but VEP7 crashes after some time. The same happens with Cubase 13, so it's not a VEP7 issue.
I spent hours trying to find a way to get the keyboard to work properly with the Synchron Player as well as with VEP, to no avail. Useless.
It doesn't make things easier for me considering that I have numerous Kontakt libraries on 2 VEP servers that have keys for switching expression maps. Initially, I had considered whether I should buy a Komplete Kontrol Sxx MK3 because the latest generation now directly supports Kontakt, instead of having to go through the KK plugin. Since I work a lot with SP and VEP, this quite costly investment seems to be obsolete.
It's also a "shame" that nowadays (still) it's not possible to use the key switches natively in the Synchron Player on the KK. That would be a real work relief, instead of always having to look at the screen to see which instrument has its key switches where, especially with VSL libraries and the numerous combinations.
For post-processing, the expression map is sufficient, no issue there.
Any further information on this at this time?
