  • Well done on getting native silicon for VEP - and a question concerning buffer mismatches

Well done to you all for getting VEP to native silicon. It's such an improvement all round. It took a while but we're there now.

I am running a single instance of VEP on a PC, networked to my Mac. All fine with that, situation normal, except for a buffer size issue. Previously, when I'd changed the buffer size on my DAW, this was reflected in VEP on the PC. This doesn't seem to be happening (there's a little text indicator saying 'engine started, Rate: X Buffer Size: X and so on.)

Is this actually happening? Or is it perhaps a UI issue? I don't see a way to verify the buffer size any other way. I can't imagine mismatched buffers will do anything good. I'm rebuilding my template at the moment, so I've not stress-tested yet, but I want to see if I can fix this issue.

    Thanks for any advice.
