  • No VEP library

Finally got this installed and trying to understand it. I can load other VST instruments, but I see no VEP instruments. What am I missing?

  • Hi,

Just checked your account and saw that you have a demo license of VE Pro.

The demo license comes with out the Epic Orchestra 2.0, that sample library is only included with the permanent license.

If you'd like to check out some of our samples, I'd suggest to go with a demo license of the Synchron Prime Edition.

  • Well that is clear as mud on the product page, and it makes no sense to me that you offer the this tool as a demo without including the instruments that come with it. But OK.

  • Instruments don't come with VEP; they have to be downloaded and installed separately, and also activated in the iLok Manager

Dorico, Notion, Sibelius, StudioOne, Cubase, Staffpad VE Pro, Synchon, VI, Kontakt Win11 x64, 64GB RAM, Focusrite Scarlett 18i20, August Forster 190

Hi, and thank you for your feedback.

    - Vienna Ensemble Pro 7 is a hosting and mixing software.
    - Epic Orchestra 2.0 is a sample library

These are two separate products that require individual downloads & licenses. However, we add a free Epic Orchestra 2.0 license for everyone purchasing their first VE Pro 7 license. As a free bonus license.

Epic Orchestra 2.0 is a variety of selected patches from our Synchron Player instruments. As mentioned earlier, we do offer demo licenses for our Synchron Prime Edition. Same player, same features, same sound signature! 😊

  • Thanks. And some more feedback. I find it very difficult to understand and navigate your range of products (and I'm not new at this). You could really do better with how you communicate what your products are imo.

  • Hi,

There is indeed a lot of choice, and I agree that we can improve navigation. Did you try the SEARCH feature?
If that doesn't help, would you like to share what you're looking for with us?

    Best,
    Paul
