  • VI libraries wont show on new Pro 7 install

    Followed all the intstructions, and added the special addition libraries that I have a license for, set up all the paths where required. Pro 7 runs, but I cant load any VSL libraries. Also, it broke my VE 6.5 installation when I installed Pro 7...that no longer works. I tried to upgrade as wish to run Protools Ultimate (HDX, on a 14" m1 Macbook pro) in native mode and this is the last plugin to update.

    I use VSL professionally, so this is pretty time critical for me. I just assumed that the old version would still work under rosetta.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Hi! If you install VE Pro 7, this version replaces VE Pro 6. However, you find a Uninstaller app in the "Vienna Ensemble Pro" application folder. Kindly note that we do not support mixing eLicenser & iLOK. Please download and install all software & sample content fro the Vienna Assistant under "Not Installed". As a last step, activate all your products in the iLOK License Manager. (Cloud or iLOK Key)

    If you wish to continue working with VE Pro 6, please use the legacy installers from your MyVSL area.

  • So, reading between the lines, I need to uninstall the old versions that use the eLicenser. None of the uninstall apps work on my macbook with 12.6.7 Macosx. Either for the old VE 6.5 or the new VE Pro 7 applications. Can i just delete them?


  • Here are some screenshots. Get no patches on VSL ensemble or Synchron. I must be doing something wrong! But cant figure it out. Have deleted old installation of VSL 6.5 and libaries and library manager and disconnected the eLicenser. I am running out of time to fix this. Any help would be most appreciated

  • Thaks so much, that was kinda the issue. The VSL library was activated, but not to my iLok...to the cloud iLok. So thought it was activated, but the cloud iLok wasnt working on my computer for some reason. Switched to my local iLok, and all good to go. Thanks again for the responses and the help
