  • Hearing multiple instruments from the synchron sample player at the same time ?

Is it possible to hear multiple instruments from the synchron sample player at the same time on the VEPro server?

Certain instrument combinations can be used for arranging and then it is a matter of going to hear them.

Can I do this with the synchron sample player...am afraid not?

  • Hi,

The Synchron Player is designed to play back one instrument at a time, although you CAN stack instruments (but it gets complicated quickly).

My suggestion to trigger 2 instruments at the same time: Use the same MIDI channel or arm the channels you want to record on.

    Best,

  • Thanks, I want to listen to some instrument combinations on the midikeyboard controller by playing on it.

Of course that will not work, because there is no common keyboard at two Synchron players to combine.

I only want to listen to two instrument combinations.

    Then let's use playback...

  • As Paul mentioned, you can always select multiple MIDI tracks and play those simultaneously. If you choose tracks with instrument ranges that don't overlap, you will obviously have to play the notes in upper and lower registers at the same time. Having two hands for that does come in "handy". :-)
