    Hi, is any way to choose other drive instead of C: system drive when install VSL product? There is no option to select drive when install Vienna Assitant & Synchron Piano Player.

    Hi!

    Applications like the sample players & Vienna Assistant install and depend on software components and, therefore, are always installed on the Windows OS partition (C:) - unlike sample content which can be installed on another drive, too.

    Compared with the large folders of sample libraries, the software hardly takes up any space on your system.

    Hi Andreas,

    My C: drive is normal HDD (Sychron piano player install location), and my piano sample library store at SSD. My question is does the HDD affect the piano player signal speed? I get some sound cracking issue after play a while. This happens to my Yamaha and D274 with 4 mics, my preload size set to max. 

    Will nvme solve the problems?

    Hi!

    While good reasons exist to install your OS on an SSD drive, it does not impact your Synchron Pianos Player performance. CPU, RAM, Sample Drive & audio driver settings do.

    This also works with only a DAW or the free Vienna Ensemble software.
