I am running the latest (M1 compatible) version of VEP server on a PC, and DP 11 on a Mac M1, and am trying to find a way to stop VEP from starting playback everytime DP's playback starts.
The reason is that I don't want VEP receiving tempo changes - curves cause VEP to distort playback trying to match tempo, when it isn't relevant on the sample side (in my case at least). If this can be turned off in DP, I haven't found it.
I never had this problem running VEP standalone with network midi, and don't recall seeing VEP tracking tempo (lower right corner to the left of cpu load-percentage).
Any ideas?
