Icjh verwende Finale.
I don't have the Synchron player standalone. When I trry to get it in Finale as device or the plugin in Vienna Ensemble, I get errors.. I do not think that Finale or the synchron player is the problem, for noteperformer uses the samples without the player. My last idea is that the sample content has to be installed when the x- y-files are in my computer. All I see is empty symbols ...
When I load my instruments, I can see that they are active (with the little dots before their names, but I cannot hear them. When I mute an instrument I hear the noteperformer's own sound(s). Are you sure, I do need the player?
Hello Bill, this is what I'll send to Vienna tomorrow. Unfortunately I cannot send the picture here.
Hello Andreas,
in the meantime I can activate "Noteperformer Playback Engines", I can select and load the instruments. I'm sure you know that on the way it says "Trial" under Synchron Prime edition and also in the next picture I can already use the engine freely without buying anything... (see fig. 1 and 2).
But I don't hear anything, only the Noteperformer sounds, namely when I muted the Synchron prime samples. But I can see by the little knobs that the instruments are invoved. The volume controls do not react (Fig 3).
I can activate Synchron prime via iLok cloud, but I still have the eLicenser running because of my treasures. The maintenance work in the eLicenser Center broke down at first (Fig 4), but has since worked again.
I downloaded the content from Synchron prime to a hard disk, because there was no more space under C or the usual disk. The Vienna Assistant also accepted the change. The files are called x and y files (Fig 5): I darkly remember that you used to have to install them after the download, but I can't find the option in the Vienna Assistant. In the forum someone asked me if Synchron prime runs standalone on Synchron player. But I think this is firstly a wrong consideration, because I do not need the player anymore, right? Anyway: If I want to have the player as standalone, I get an error message (Fig 6), if I want to have it via Vienna Ensemble, I also get one (Fig 7).
Under MyVSL I notice that some entries are black instead of blue and in the field next to "Register" there is only xxx- etc. (Fig 8).
I have read that you have to convert your products from eLicenser to iLok and cannot use both at the same time (Fig 9) Is that the reason? I can't do that at all with the old stuff....
I could go on like this and tell and illustrate all sorts of things: I am at my wit's end. Please help me! Thanks

No, Bill, my mistake was, just to download the content and not to install it. Now I do hear the samples, so with NP the Synchron player is not needed- Thanks for your attention. Best Uli
