    Hello! I've been using VePro forever and just recently upgrading from my aging Mac Pro 5,1 to a new Mac Studio M2 Ultra. I'm using Logic Pro as my DAW and I'm noticing a few hiccups. One of the biggest annoyances that I'm hoping you all can help me solve is the transport controls. The transport controls from within VePro do not work at all to control Logic. Both Logic and VePro show up in the privacy & security / accessibility section but still nothing. The play/stop icons appear to work on the VePro side but I get an alert sound from the Mac OS system as if I've hit an invalid key and nothing actually changes in Logic. Any ideas or suggestions? This annoyance is much greater than I would have expected. It's throwing off my entire flow.
    I've also turned off the two GUI activate options within VePro because the entire flow between Logic and VePro just seems "off". On my old machine I'd always be switching back and forth between Logic and VePro and it worked seamlessly but on the new machine unfortunately it almost feels clunky. :(

    Hi! 

    That, unfortunately, is correct - and it's because Apple is forcing our plug-ins to run out-of-process since Logic 10.7.6. Transport will only work with VE Pro being in focus (the active windows).

    Well that's disappointing. Is there no work around? Is this something that could get "fixed" in the future or it would require Apple to do a non-Apple thing and reverse course? Can I use Midi CC messages for transport functionality in both? Any suggestions? 
    Thanks for the reply Andreas8420. At least I can stop considering myself crazy thinking I had done something wrong. Seems it's "working as designed" in this case. :(

    I've been using both Elgato Stream Deck mobile, Logic Remote and MetaGrid all running on iPad to control Logic and give me a quick non mouse Transport solution.

    I really really like Logic Remote, MetaGrid is not bad and neither is Elgato - they all work -= but Logic Remote is effortless and the Track monitoring and Navigation is really useful - but MetaGrid offers more options so I've been using two iPads one running Logic Remote and the other (finally) MetaGrid and I'm thoroughly enjoying the experience.
