Can you add microphone(s) for soloists ?

What tasks do you have in mind? Are you sure you really ask for "microphones" (which means: listening positions), not MIR Icons (i.e. player positions)?

If the latter is the case: Have you already looked into the existing MIR Role Presets? There are hundreds of soloist positions for all typical solo instruments, sometimes more than one:

Sorry if I do not get how the Mir Role Preset are handle.

If I take this example :

If a trumpet is making a solo during the piece do you have to define two trumpet, one when soloing and one when it is playing within the orchestra ?
