Hello all,
I'm having constant crashes that appear to be VE Pro-related (crash log is 500 pages).
I'm up to 26 Projects (Instances, some call them), plus three more for the satellite PCs that are feeding samples. Plus a couple of Kontakt, UVI, Dune 3, and so on.
My question is -- how many VE Pro Projects in a single VE Pro server are manageable? How many is "too many" in your system?
Overall setup:
- DAW is Digital Performer 11.22
- VE Pro 7 Server 7.2.1516
- Kontakt 5, 6 and 7; DUNE 3, East-West PLAY v.
- Three separate satellite PCs running VE Pro (same version) divided into Perc, Strings, Brass&Winds&Choirs
- Computer is a Mac Pro with over 300 GB of RAM and 16 processors.
Here's a portion of the crash log (from pages 1-2):
