  • [SOLVED] New computer instal

    Installing a new computer.

    Question 1

Can I install on the new computer the software before the de-activating Ilok on the old.

    Question 2

My Steinway is already on a external drive. Can I just plug it in the new computer or do I have to re-install everything.

    Thanks

    Welcome Ron,

Yes, you can install the software and sample content on as many computers as you like. Your licenses will unlock them as soon as they are available on any given computer.

To add sample content on a new computer, click "Add existing libraries" in the Main Menu of the Vienna Assistant.

    Best,
    Paul

  • Thanks for the reply.

the Steinway was able to load in vienna assistant

however the vienna player keeps saying  I have no compatible pianos.

I have re installed the player and I have made sure Ilok is open, but still nothing

Both my keys for the 280 and Steinway are activated in the cloud

Do I need to deactivate and reactivate them.

    ok I got it.

Any case some other idiot comes with the same problem...

Seems my ILok session remained opened on my old computer.

By shutting that down the pianos came to life.

    Still, thanks for the help.
