    I still work with PT HD3 TDM, and thus necessarily on a MacPro with OS10.8.5, with PT 10 and with VEP6.

    1. I start up Protools and VEPserver, the window of the VEPserver ibecomes visible.

    2. I install the VEP plugin on an instrument track and make the connection.

    Sometimes I can now just load instruments in the VEPserver window and that works fine.

    Other times the above actions will call up a second window VEP (not server) and I have to install instruments there.

    What determines these differences?
