Hi all, the problem i am having is this, I have a Master PC and a Slave PC, on the Master i have VEPRO iLok with Hardware iLok and on Cloud. On Slave i have actual Hardware eLicenser. Now, i know i can run Cloud on one and iLok on another but i don't wanna do that at the moment, i have over 300 Licenses on my iLok account, it is just too complicated. What i want is and it seems impossible. To create an Instance on my Master with iLok Hardware and then open it on my Slave where VEPRO is on eLicenser. It seems impossible. I tried 3 Ways, whole Project, just Importing the Instance and i also tried with a Channel Set. All 3 will not open on Slave with eLicenser, it says they were created with a newer version. Am i missing something? Or do i have to spend 90$ for another iLok just for 1 License on the other PC?
Thanks

Hello,
You are correct, eLicenser and iLok versions of VE Pro 7 will not connect.
Here's a video that shows the situation and options with iLok and VE Pro.
If you don't want to use a physical iLok key on your second computer, you can always go with the iLok Cloud.
Best,
Paul

This seems to work for me. I have iLok VEP (v7.1.1.406) on the master computer and eLicenser VEP (v7.0.1120) on the server computer. No problem connecting; works just as it always did.
