Fazioli: Can´t install new player update.

Hi Folks,

I can´t install the new Synchron player with fazioli. Norton Antivirus found a suspicious file access and removes player.

Normally I can manuelly tell Norton to approve installation but also Win11 removes player due to "virus found".

Any hints?

I have deactivated data Protector now during Installation (really nichtit want I normally want to do in these days on my work machine). I leave this post for everybody and the developers. Is the first time this happens with Synchron Player- maybe Symantec will Patch in the future? Alex

Hi Alex, 

I talked to our developers, and here's their reply: 

"In this case, it sounds like the user has just misconfigured his antivirus software? I’m not sure what the purpose would be to block access to C:\Program Files\Common Files."

This is the first time in years a problem with protection software pops up, but we'll keep an eye out.
