  • Sequencer Slots

    Hi all,

    Some sequencer questions:

In the video tutorials for Vienna Instruments Pro explaining the sequencer, I see 8 slots in the seqeuncer slot section (4x A/B). In my (updated) Vienna Instruments Pro I have 16 slots in the sequencer slot section (8x a/b is). See picture.

My question is, what are the slots beyond 4 (5, 6, 7, 8) in the sequencer slots do? How do these slots correspond to the slots in advance view (where there are also 8 slots, 4x A/B)

Secondly, when drawing a new note in the sequencer, the note is automatically assigned to all 8 slots (all 8 slots are dark blue, when selecting the notes). Is there a way to reverse this procedure; so when drawing a note, it's automatically assigned to no slots. One would then select the note and assign it to a slot manually. This works much fast then having the note assigned to all slots, and deselecting all the slot-assignments it should not be assigned to.

Any ideas would be very welcome!

Thanks in advance for all your time and efforts!
