Sorry if this has been answered. I wasn't finding it in a search. Anyway: I've run out of space on the main drive of a 2014 Mac Pro, and am considering a new Mac Studio. Here's the question: I seem to remember reading that all the instrument files (many gigabytes) need to be on an SSD drive, and that needs to be the main drive on the computer. Is this true? On my present Mac Pro, I have no choice but to use external drives, and I'm guessing this will not work with recent Synchron sounds? If anyone can clarify, I'd be grateful. Thank you.

New Installation(s)

Hi!
Sample content can be installed on additional, internal and/or external drives too! That's a perfectly fine solution. Make sure to use an efficient file format for your drives:FAQ: What format should my drive be? And how do I change the format?
