  • Voices mix / Voices key Synchron Pianos

    Hello.

I think I'm going to ask a very obvious question for the wonderful synchron pianos, but I need to know how you use the "Voices Mix" number. Running a track I realized that 700 voices appeared at the bottom of the player while the maximum number of voices that I had assigned in "Voices Mix" by default was 128. Logically I changed it to 700 to have more voices, do you usually do it? So? do you notice any real change in the sound? On the other hand, I take the opportunity to ask about the "Voices key" parameter, what is it for? how do you use it and how many voices do you assign here?

    Thank you very much.

  • Hi J Luis,

The Max Voices per Microphone/Key values limit how many voices are triggered in total before the engine starts to intelligently drop some voices. Besides the played notes, you have additional release samples, Key release noises samples, and pedal samples, which also influence the total number of voices you are seeing.

    Best regards,
    Andreas

  • Thanks. Yes, I understand what you are saying, but I wonder how many voices do users normally allocate or if they leave it as default at 128? I imagine that the higher the number of voices, the more CPU it consumes... in my case there is no CPU problem. Another question that I ask myself, do I have to change the number of samples in my audio interface to achieve an optimal result? Thanks.
