How often VSL search for Ilok validation on the cloud.

I chose the iCloud protection.

I work on a song from home where I have Internet over fiberoptic.

I go somewhere where there is no Internet what is it happening ?

How long can I use the song without having the message that my computer is not licensed ?

If there is an internet cut at home will it be the same ?

How often is VSL checking for the licences ?

During paying too  or just when you load the song ?

There's always the possibility to use an iLok (hardware) if you have issues with your internet connection.

Hi Cyril,

You can move your licenses freely between your iLOK account, the iLOK Cloud, or an iLOK key - but an active internet connection is required for moving licenses between locations. To avoid misunderstandings: You can not have the licenses on the key and in the cloud at the same time. You have to move it between locations.

If you plan on working offline, then using an iLOK key is the more comfortable option. The licenses are regularly checked every few minutes - also while using your products. You can not start your song once, and then keep working without a license.

So the Ilok protection does not improve user use of VSL

It is even worse as you have re-download all your libs

Having 1.53 TB of VSL Libs it is going to take a HELL of a time, also I will need to buy and extra disk to move the eLicenced files
